Circle of Competences for Community Work with adults project is focused on development of basic skills and key competences in adult learners , through a system of actions which start from assessing learning needs of partner organisations staff and learners, then improving Educators competences and trough them reach adult learners with fewer opportunities in the 4 countries of the partnership (Coordinator: Arci Catania, Italy; Hors Pistes France; UPI Zalek, Slovenia; APECV. Portugal).
Activities
2018: Taining of Trainers
20 Educators active in Adult Education with different professional profiles attended an international training course collecting and sharing good practices and tools to facilitate and recognise their learners achievements (E- portfolio) and to engage learners with fewer opportunities (Popular Education techniques). They test and experience themselves those tools as well as share with colleagues from different countries.
The aftermovie of the CCCWA-project training is presented above and will give you the opportunity to get an impression of all the things the participants learned, experienced, laughed about and had difficulties with. This video also provides an image of the teambuilding activities, the energizers, the atmosphere and the place that the training took place in.
2019: Workshops
As a second step, the same Educators test and apply the gained methods in their own countries with a group of local learners with different difficulties in education and inclusion in society and job market ( adults with migrant background, asylum seekers, unemployed adults with unstable/poor educational paths ) trough workshops run at local level whose content and methods will be defined in details during the project. The workshops engaged adult learners at local level, motivate them to participate to further learning experiences and make easier the recognition of their experience acquired trough non formal and informal learning.

CIRCLE IN PORTUGAL /Circle em Portugal
Um Projeto de Formação de Adultos provenientes de grupos vulneráveis com Arci Catania- Italia; Hors Pistes- França; Upi Zalek- Eslovénia. Neste Projeto a APECV trabalhou em parceria com a AVISPt21 e a ASSOL , implementando workshops em dois grupos de adultos com incapacidades mentais ou físicas, um em Oliveira de Frades e outro em Viseu . Os nossos formadores foram à Sicilia em Novembro de 2018 para receber formação e disseminaram a informação junto dos colegas , os workshops foram realizados entre Janeiro de 2019 e março de 2019 com dois grupos de adultos num total de 60 participantes ( projeto ERASMUS+ nº 2017-1-IT02-KA204-036912).

Art Projects for Inclusion in Education, Seminar in Viseu, Quinta da Cruz, 4th May 2019/Seminário na Quinta da Cruz , 4 de maio de 2019
With the participation of artists Carlos Sousa and Juliana Ferreira . Circle was one of the projects presented during the seminar by the artists . The seminar was organised by APECV members Sandra Gouveia and Sandra May with the support of Quinta da Cruz for Teachers; social workers; cultural workers and students of the Master in Special education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.

Impact: after Circle, APECV artists and art educators continued to work with organisations engaged with disabilty using e-portfolios and popular education methods.
